![]() ![]() I've heard the dev releases of GIMP are fairly bug free, but I couldn't figure out how to compile it using the wiki and I don't know enough about console work to troubleshoot (I think it couldn't find the gtk-doc directory? And that seemed to cause a number of problems further down the line).Īny help would be appreciated it may have only been ~$55 after shipping, but I'd still prefer not to have this money go to waste. I just finished uninstalling the Wacom drivers through the Programs and Features page of the Control Panel, but I don't think it'll be successful so I'm making this post anyways (will update on results after restarting). With my old Bamboo, I would have a similar error to this resetting the tablet user preferences when no programs were running fixed the issue, but I'm not sure if a similar solution exists for this Monoprice tablet. Changing USB ports on the front of my computer has no effect. Uninstalling the Wacom drivers and restarting the computer caused the tablet to no longer be recognized as a tablet by both my PC and GIMP, possibly due to the default drivers being installed. I've tried re-installing GIMP, to no avail. I've tried using a system restore to uninstall the drivers, disable the Windows Update driver installation, and re-install the drivers, but when I plug in my tablet I still get the "installing drivers" pop up. During this time, my mouse also doesn't work unplugging my mouse has no effect on this issue, whether I start GIMP with it plugged in or unplugged. When I go into the Input Devices menu and enable the tablet, everything suddenly doesn't work: touching my tablet with its pen opens the right click menu moves the canvas around, sometimes continuing to drag the canvas even after I lift the pen or creates a circular cursor like that of any of the drawing tools that's ~4" up and left from where the cursor actually is, which doesn't track with the cursor accurately nor performs any drawing if I move the canvas underneath the cursor. When I try to use it in GIMP, pressure sensitivity doesn't work by default, though it works fine as a binary on-off. I just recently purchased a Monoprice tablet (10"圆.25", PID 10594) to replace a failing Wacom Bamboo. Seeing as I've found a number of posts about this while Googling, I can't say this is exactly a new issue, but so far none of the suggestions I found seem to have fixed this issue. I'll keep the original text below for posterity's sake. ![]() the same tablet from a different seller, installation of those drivers ended up resolving the problem. Since the Huion H610 Pro is the exact same as the Monoprice 10594, i.e. Really sucks cause this one still works as good as when I got it, and I have an unopened spare(They don't even make these anymore).Solution: The Monoprice install disc drivers were 3 years out of date. I recently moved from win7 to 10 hoping it would fix the problem and after finally finding a driver that worked it does the same crash after startup thing! At this point I'm wondering if I should just get a newer tablet. Even after reinstalling I had to manually reopen it every time I turned on the computer, and programs like photoshop/zbrush would lose pen pressure whenever I opened/viewed another art program or opened a folder with 3d models in it until I restarted them once or 3 times So I have an 8圆 monoprice I brought like 8 years ago, it worked perfectly until a few months ago when windows update broke the driver making it crash shortly after startup. ![]()
